Harlan & Heidi spent a
weekend cross country skiing with a group of friends. They snow shoed
into a wilderness lake and set up camp. The first morning they woke
up to -15. A lot of work goes into keeping warm and cooking food
or melting water.

The sauna got stoked up &
after sitting in the sauna working up a good sweat everyone decided to
jump in the lake. The experience is really something that will make
your heart jump start!

In addition to snowshoeing
and winter camping, snowmobiling and ice fishing are a great way to enjoy
the Minnesota winters.

These Lake Trout were caught
on a wilderness lake on the Canadian side of the border about 26 miles
by snow machine from the resort.
